JEAN HERBOLD- PRODUCER
Ever since I can remember, I’ve been interested in images and stories. I longed to capture special moments in life and make them last forever, whether through a drawing, taking a snapshot on my Dad's 110 film camera, or shooting video on a camcorder.
Growing up, I spent a lot of time listening to my parents chat with friends and family. It was fun hearing the excitement in their voices as they discussed their own memories of growing up in the 30s and 40s.
I believe sharing a story is special. It takes time to listen and digest. It is a gift to be able to tell it and to hear it. I hope you will take time to listen to some of mine and share yours with me, too.

ABOUT ME
As an experienced Video Producer, I offer a variety of services that will take care of all your project needs, from start to finish. I have worked in the Portland/ Vancouver area for 20 years. I have been incredibly lucky to be a part of both large and "not so large" scale productions for companies like Levis, Nike, Adidas, YKK, Harry & David, Google, Banfield Pet Hospital, Pacific Power, as well as many local and non profit projects. No matter the size, what is most important is your message.
Making sure communication is clear and concise is my main goal.

Let me help you with your video project needs, including budget estimates, talent & location wrangling, field producing and Post-Production. These services are designed to help you concentrate on the message while I take care of the rest!
PRE-PRODUCTION
Production can be one of the the most challenging stages in any project, but I will go above and beyond to deliver excellent results and meet your project goals. I have gotten to work with many wonderfully talented collaborators over the years.

I love taking on new challenges, and when it comes to Creative Development, I will work around the clock to help build an inspiring story that celebrates you and your organization.

POST-PRODUCTION
Here is where a story truly takes shape. For me, it is like working at a potter's wheel, we have the raw material, but it is how we pull it together that will make the vessel amazing. I have worked on long form and short form documentary style pieces, commercials, corporate communications and even social media. Whether you want to use existing video footage or create some exciting new animation, I am ready to take it on with you.
IN PRODUCTION
The Pumpkin Lady of Fond du Lac
A short documentary about a town in Wisconsin and its unique way of celebrating Halloween for the past 5 decades, and the woman who helped create many magical memories for generations of children in the community.
